Alumni of MIT have launched 30,200 active companies in two years, employing about 4.6 million people and generating about $1.9 trillion in annual revenues, according to the Cambridge university.
The surge of interest in entrepreneurship has resulted in the newly-expanded and renovated Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship at One Amherst Street in Cambridge.
