Lawyers will always be required for sage advice and counsel. Of course, that assumes that lawyers will be needed in a world where document review will be by computers, using predictive coding. And that criminal sentencing may be a mathematical equation requiring only a computer. Or a world in which disputes are no longer resolved by jury trials; but, by alternative dispute resolution.
