As an educational resource or marketing tool for your firm or other legal organization, a YouTube channel is very much what you make of it. Some legal channels are maximizing this medium and others have a way to go. In part 1, we looked at three legal sites — Stanford Law School, kCura, and Providence, R.I.-based firm Audette, Barzar, Cordeiro & Grasso, and offered three recommendations on how to create an appealing, cohesive legal channel.
Even if you can’t bring a large volume of videos to your channel, or if you think that this cinematic business is beyond your ken, remember that all channel providers — regardless of their size or expertise — all begin with the same task – building a foundation. Fortunately, YouTube has made that beginning step pretty pain-free. In fact, the learning curve is not steep, and you may even find yourself enjoying the ride.
