How’s the recovery doing? Some of the U.S. economic numbers may have improved since last summer when the Department of Commerce opened this app warehouse of key indicators released from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics and Bureau of Economic Analysis. Tap into America’s Economy app ( iOS Android) to track trends in manufacturing, employment, housing, inventory, international trade, sales, construction, and more. A July update added three new economic indicators: Consumer Price Index, Producer Price Index, and Nonfarm Payroll. Data means money.
SuperVision Labor & Employment Information
Keep your eye on employment topics with SuperVision. Spilman Thomas and Battle, a 140-attorney firm operating in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Virginia, got busy this summer with this slickly named free app (iOS only). It targets general counsel, businesses and HR pros. The new app offers basic legal information in decision-tree format covering three common employment issues: employee complaints on social media, overtime pay, and final wage payment. No Google Glass required.
