For two or three years I have been encouraging you, the reader, to give attention to the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) and the Texas Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (TADN).

I now have two more reasons to encourage you to pay attention. The NADN has just announced relationships with the American Association for Justice (AAJ, formerly ATLA) AND the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the pre-eminent organizations for plaintiff’s and defense counsel in the United States. What Does This Mean For You and Your Clients?“So – what does this mean? (Our bios and calendars are) now published at both the DRI Neutral Database (www.DRI.org) and AAJ Neutral Database (formerly known as ATLA,www.Justice.org) and is thus available to over 40,000 litigators across the US, in effect making NADN the go-to neutrals roster for US litigation firms. NADN continues to insist on strict voting/vetting procedures to ensure only the top-tier mediators and arbitrators are inducted, but we will now also take annual survey data from the plaintiff and defense bars to ensure that we’re aware of any attorneys/judges who should be at least considered for membership to state chapters.”
