The number of people taking the Law School Admission Test continues to drop. Only 33,673 people took the LSAT in October, an 11 percent decline from the previous year, report the National Law Journal and the Wall Street Journal Law Blog (sub. req.). The new number is a 45 percent drop from the all-time high reached in October 2009.

Two years ago, Houston plaintiffs lawyer Steve Mostyn led the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA).
