LexisNexis Legal and Professional launched a website called Legal Content Insider on July 14 that offers “content about the content,” said Scott Meiser, senior director of research information at LexisNexis.
Legal Content Insider, which is built on the LexisNexis user forum platform called LexTalk, offers news and information about legal publications, both print and digital, as well as other LexisNexis content. Via LexTalk, legal professionals can communicate with their peers and post questions and comments through forums.
“It’s less about the content that we sell, so much as about the participation and conversation about that content, and understanding what that content is,” Meiser (pictured left) said on Monday from San Antonio, where he was attending the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) 107th annual meeting and conference, which began on July 12. LCI was introduced at the AALL conference earlier this week.
