Texas-based Locke Lord announced Wednesday that it has signed a letter of intent to “combine the 630 lawyer firm with Edwards Wildman Palmer," a 450 lawyer firm based in Boston. The new law firm, if the proposed joint venture is successful, would be called Locke Lord Edwards, have 23 offices globally and gross revenues of about $675 million.
